On May 21 and 22, 2008 Partners in Contracting Corporation (PICC), the Indiana Small Business Development centers, the Chicago Minority Business Opportunity Council, the Gary, East Chicago, Hammond Empowerment Zone, the Indiana Minority Business Enterprise Center, the Northwest Indiana Chambers of Commerce Executive Directors Association, Cender and Company, SEH Engineering, NIPSCO, Regional Development Corporation and Horseshoe Casino will be hosting the 11th biennial Government Procurement Conference. This conference provides Indiana companies the opportunity to meet with as many as thirty government agencies, Department of Defense prime contractors, state agencies and the Indiana gaming casinos.

Bio

Ms. Stacey Smith is the founder, president and CEO of Prairie Quest Consulting formed in 2002 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Prairie Quest provides the following consulting services to the public and private sector: Strategic Spend Analysis and Acquisition Management, Project Management and Business Analysis and ERP Implementation and Support. Prairie Quest is a State of Indiana Certified Women Owned Business. U.S. SBA 8 (a) Certified and HUB Zone business. Ms. Smith is a successful prime and sub-contractor to the federal government. She has worked for Rockwell International, Northrop Grumman, United Space Alliance/Lockheed Martin Space Systems, and Lincoln Financial Group. She is a graduate magna cum laude from Barry University, Miami Florida with a degree in Information Technology.
